Max B also known as Charly Wingate was found guilty of involvement in a robbery that left a man dead after the State of Jersey coerced co defendant Gina Conway to testify against him and the gunman in exchange for a lesser sentence. Charly was sentenced to 40 years on September 4th 2009, with out any evidence presented by the state.The actual gun man was captured and also testified but still received a life sentence for committing murder .Max B was accused of orchestrating a robbery and then convicted for armed robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assault, and murder. Many people feel the rappers conviction was cruel and unlawful. On August 30th 2012 Max B’s appeal was denied with no further notice. Pardon the wave is collectively organizing a petition for his release. We are looking to approach both Governor Chris Christie and President Barack Obama for a Pardon.Charly did not receive a fair trial . Supporters are asked to sign the petition, our goal is 4 million signatures. Despite the charges and allegations the rapper was not in the state at the time when the crime was committed nor did he obstruct justice when approached by police. Charly Max B Wingate deserves another chance in society, the likes of Jay Z and Shyne have recently spoken of his great contribution to Hip Hop.
